Under the gentle embrace of a Vancouver summer evening, the stage was set for an lovely gathering on Friday, August 25th at War Room’s HQ.
Dressed in their finest summer outfits and Hawaiian shirts, a diverse group of attendees, including friends, family, marketing brands, and partners, converged on our event space for “Tropical Tides & Business Ties”.
We wanted to celebrate a great summer, come together as a community, reignite old friendships as well as forge new ones. It was also the first time we unveiled our brand-new renovated office!
The ambiance was set to ‘island vibes,’ and the atmosphere was as laid-back as it was electric. It was a night that embodied the spirit of connection and community, where new friendships were forged and existing bonds strengthened.

Gems of the Night Who Made It Shine
As we soaked up the sun’s last rays, we had the privilege of enjoying refreshing beverages courtesy of our local sponsors, Cabron, Please! and Pyur.
Their commitment to our event added a delightful touch, offering a diverse selection of drinks that perfectly complemented the tropical setting.
PYUR
PYUR is a Vodka Soda brand that’s clean, and pure with deliciously all-natural ingredients! They provided us with refreshing, unsweetened vodka sodas with flavours like lemon lime, raspberry, pineapple orange. We also got to try their new cocktails, with perfectly tropical flavours of Margarita, Pina Colada and Bellini, which was a hit!
Cabrón Cocktails
Cabrón Cocktails carefully select premium tequila from Jalisco, blend it harmoniously with real fruit juices, and add just a delicate touch of cane sugar to create cocktails bursting with flavor. We were able to enjoy the Fiesta pack, with yummy flavours like POG (passionfruit, orange, guava), Ranch Water (lime juice, seasalt), and Cantarito (lime, orange, grapefruit)…local craftsmanship chilled and served!

Please Beverage Co. also graciously generous prizes, including a set of original postcards, complimentary drink tickets at their freshly minted tasting room, and some amazing mix-packs of their delectable cocktails that feature a Southeast Asian flare. Our attendees were delightfully surprised by these gifts in their gift bags!
Memphis Blues
The beverages went perfectly with Memphis Blues catering. Juicy, hot barbeque, cheesy mac and cheese and crispy coleslaw etc, it was finger-licking good!
Zoey Leven
Live music by Vancouver-based artist, Zoey Leven, provided the perfect soundtrack for the evening. Their incredible covers and self-written songs resonated with the crowd, creating an atmosphere that was both relaxed and vibrant. As a proud member of the LGBTQ community and an indie artist with dreamy pop undertones, Zoey continues to discover her sound, gender identity, and people who can connect to their experiences.
